power windows/low beams 200

All of the sudden, my power window stopped working along withthe back-up lights. I know that they are on the same line and looking at how hard the back-up switch is, I am hesitant to satr ripping things out.
Next, my low beam driver side is out but when I go to high beam, it comes on.
I figure it is a grounding problem and maybe a back-up switch.
Question: Are there groundig wires specifically for these applications that are exposed to the elements that may be the culprit and
Are there any tricks to replacing the back-up switch?
