HEY! 140-160

At some point we might have to go to 2 " SUs, or sidedraft webers, but I really do not know what that point is. Testing will tell. Right now its just nice to get 150 HP and keep the stock carbs only having to change needles.

Fitting a larger bore for either is a minor matter. They can be bolted on the larger bore as is, or the combustion chamber can be enlarged to more closely match the bore.

The point with the larger bore is that going to a larger bore with the stock head
does not make a lot of sense as the stock head can barely flow enough air to support the stock displacement. With an improved head you can then go to a larger bore and get significant improvements. In other words, the flow capacity of the head has to match the displacement.
