question: buying my first volvo! 200 1984

I'm very excited to be buying my first Volvo! I'm looking at a 1984 Volvo (sedan) dl with 156K miles. (asking price $1200)It appears to be in great shape. No dings, no rust, no rips in the interior. Beautiful car. I'm wondering if there is anything in particular I should check out mechanicly. Anything that typically goes wrong with this model? Questions I should ask of the owner before making my decision? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
