All 1988-1990 760 sedans, 88-91 780 coupe, 1991 940 SE , all 960 sedans. The wagon versions of these cars and 83-87 sedans have the solid axle found on 740/940. Because less large parts moved under the car, IRS vehicles had a larger 100 litre fuel tank vs the 80 litre taks in solid axle cars.
