legal matters 200 1986

hi guys, hope youre doing fine, i have another long and sad story...

... as some of you may remember, my car had oil leaks was taken to a mechanics, was asked to repair oil leak, and clean PCV system (ok, the guy did not know what a flametrap is). i paid a couple of hundred bucks, and now, what comes up after the first roadtrip: the car lost 2,5 quarts of oil in less than 400 miles! its a miracle that it survived! just as a comparison: BEFORE the service it lost about 1 quart in 3000 miles, and at least 2-300 miles of this was driven WITH the oil leaking.

i know, it would be pretty simple to just shoot the guy. however, i would like to explore my other options first. does he have to take responsibility? if not can i sue him? or license revoked? or whatever?

yours,

david simon
