Low power when cold or sitting for an hour. b230f 200 1986

the car does not have a position sensor. the dist has that job. maybe the pickup or the harness as it passes under the engine is breaking up. could be an old fuel pump getting tired while it's getting hot. fuel pressure and volume test would be nice. i also wonder what kind of shape the harness at the amm is. check the timing advance, if it doesn't advance, that'll keep power down. maybe the ignition brain or it's connector and/or harness, again, under the engine. good luck, chuck.
