weight 140-160 1971

I've got the Roadent Rack (Road & Track?) Volvo road test reprint book. They tested a 1971 142E and listed the following weights:
Curb weight: 2695 lbs
Test Weight: 3070 lbs
Weight distribution (with driver) f/r %: 52/48
I'm not exactly sure what makes the difference between curb and test weights, but I think the test weight is a lot more indicative of what it will weigh while you are driving it around.

BTW - 1963 PV544:
Curb weight: 2160 lbs
Test weight: 2500 lbs
;)
