Suspension shimmies 700 1989

Dear members of the board

I have a new conundrum for you all. I have a REALLY Nasty driver side front wheel rattle at 60 mph. And a lot of thunking and grinding type sounds when turning hard to the right.

At first I thought the problem was a wheel bearing, however after replacement and a closer look I found that the wheel was moving in sync with the axel. I found out that the wheel is loose above the wheel, where it attaches to the frame. Whither the shock or whatever supports and suspension may be above the axel.

Have any of you had these problems and how did you go about remedying them?

Thanks

Cephis

p.s. AMS Oil works wonders for old Manual Trans!!! Shifting like it 100,000 newer.
