reattaching glass to power mirror, need advice 700

I noticed the glass (actual mirror) was loose from my power/heated mirror assembly. I rolled down the window, and it was actually coming off. Only two wires held it on. I removed the glass (and wires) so it wouldn't fall off. Nothing seems to be broken inside.

I'm just wondering what the best way is to reattach it. Was it clipped on? Was there some adhesive holding it on? If so, what is a good replacement adhesive? Or were there small, unreplacable screws that vibrated out, and I'll have to buy a whole new mirror assembly (this seems like the volvo way)?

Thanks for any advice, fellow bricksters:)
