Many thanks to gray matter contributers 700 1985

Brick heads I'd like to thank all who have given their time and knowldege to the Board & each other. I did my first water pump job over the weekend & was a little nervous. I used the 700 FAQ's and came through the job with flying colors. Thinking about a timing belt tensonier next.

Belt has over 100k on it but looked good when replacing the water pump.
Didn't want to risk screwing up the alignment of all those gears and not having the use of the car. I could live with a drippy water pump.

1985 740 GLE 215k ish w/M46 O/D
She still is hanging in
and I just can't bear to
part with her.
