Semi-URGENT: I think I fried my instrument cluster 700

OK, well, I've been trying to find out what's wrong with my Cruise COntrol. So I finally got stupidly desperate and played with my instrument cluster. I took the two yellow wires from the back of the spedometer and shifted them to the right.

I started up the car and the spedometer actually worked better than usual, meaning it didn't jump at low speeds. So I was happy... at first. Then the Battery light turns on, so I pull the car over to check all the connections and even put the two yellow wires where they use to be.

I turn on the car to 2nd ignition stage, but no test lights went on. Then I started the car and the gas, volt, and coolant sensor didn't work. Worst of all, the spedometer and tach don't work.

The strange thing is, after bein on for about 5 minutes, the battery light will come back on and my coolant sensor goes 1/3 the way over. ALso the tach goes from 0-1,000 RPMs, depending on how high the real RPMs are.

The question is... did I fry the circuitry? Any sure way to test or fix or anything? Because I wouldn't be able to get a new cluster for a week or 2. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
