Reverse lights not working 200 1989

In the trunk open the taillight black plastic cover (driver side), have someone push the brake pedal, check to see if there are voltage on the 2 black wire (should be near the edge) on the connector, if there's voltage clean the contacts on the taillight housing circuit board, that happen on mine few months ago
