' 86 Running very rich-help 200

I tuned up an '86 245 after it was not starting. Plugs,cap/rotor,air filter, serviced the flame trap.and check ignition timing. The car starts right up AMM is plugged in. It will accelerate from idle a bit rough, hold any speed you choose by the throttle. But if you look at the back of the car- quite a bit of black smoke. Pulled the new Bosch plugs- extremely black for a fuel injected car. What would be wrong with the injection that could cause such a rich condition ??? Car is 4spd+OD, has about 230,000. Any help would be apprectiated. THanks in advance.

Mike
