Need an ECU for '89 240 200

I need an good ECU for my '89 240.
The numbers on the existing one are 0 280 000 561.
I've heard that I should replace with one that has 951 number because it's updated and better.
I don't want to spend a fortune and I don't want to buy junk either. Anybody that has one...let me know.
