Safe glue for tail lamps? 200

I need to do some gluing on one of the tail lamps on my "new" 245. There is a small chip on the lower edge of the lamp, I thought I'd simply fill it out with two-component Araldit. My question is, is Araldit safe for plastic? As a plastic modeler I know that some kinds of glues will fog clear plastic, while others are safe. If Araldit is not the way to go, what kind of glue is rocommended?

Thanks for any input,
Erling.
