My guess is mas air flow meter. I had the identical symptoms with a 240 once. Pull the connector on the MAF and see what difference not having one makes. The idle circuit is that little cylinder underneath the throtle body, connected to hoses that run from the intake pipe to the intake manifold. It is independent of the rest of the system, bypasses it, actually. The car will idle just fine but be hell to get off idle with any load on it when the Air Mass Meter is bad. Let us know what you find.
