Cleaning a Regina IAC 700

I want to give my Idle valve a little tune up this week. Maybe that will help my rough idle problem. Anyway I have a 91 B230 with the Regina system.

In case you don't know this Regina parts are about 3x more expensive then Bosch system parts. So I don't want to buy a new IAC. Has anyone had any luck disassembling this thing? It looks like it's not going to be easy to remove. Someone mentioned a dremal tool and duct tape.

Are there any other options?
