Should I buy a Volvo????

Check the FAQ on the 960s. There seems to be two camps, either the 960 is a great car or it's nothing but problems. Alot this depends on how the car has been taken car of, such as following all maintenance as required. Plenty of owners are happy with theirs. My experience is difference but I had a problem that I haven't seen listed before that caused the timing belt to break resulting in bent valves. If you should decided to buy a 960, make sure that a qualified mechanic does a complete checkout of the car, before you purchase it, but this applies to anyone buying a Volvo. I have been driving Volvos for 24 years and all have been great cars (75-164 16years, 82-245 20years, 92-960 3 years,& 91-940SE the best of all 1.5 years). The 960 was the only exception. I hope we can welcome you to the Volvo family.
