rotor and brake pad ID 700

Is there anyway to identify a rotor or brake pad as being Volvo part or aftermarket? I had front brake work done on my 740 12 months ago. Started hearing squealing 10 months later, and now 12 months after the job I hear grinding. Pads are worn out and rotors needed replacing too. A non-volvo shop did the work, and were supposed to have used Volvo parts I provided that I picked up from the local dealer. I have the parts that were taken off this week, all I see are a few numbers on the pads. I have never gone through brakes this fast on this car. Driving pattern hasn't changed either. Thanks.
