Ruined spark plug hole 200

i have an 89 240 wagon. I was removing (carefully) the #4 spark plug--the one in the back. Tried to put it back in and I couldnt thread it in at all. I could see the the threads in the hole were messed up. I figured I had nothing to lose so I tried to tighten it in there and hopefully get it to thread right but it didnt work. Is there anything I can do short of taking it to a shop? I dont have any of those gismos to rethread the hole. Can someone help Im in a jam. I need my car for work Thanks Phil
