Can you hear the CBV operate on a Mitsubishi turbo? 700 1988

Not sure what I'm hearing. I thought it might be a pilot or release bearing but they were both changed when I replaced the clutch.

When I let off the throttle I hear something spin down rapidly that sounds like a dry or worn bushing or bearing. It does seem to follow the boost gauge but is only audible if the gauge is at or beyond the 11 o'clock position.

I'm making boost as the needle climbs to 2 o'clock as always but am wondering if it's the CBV or the turbo itself that's starting to rattle a bit on deceleration. No other unusual sounds, the car runs great and doesn't smoke.

Thanks,
