timing belt: change ; what about the tensioner 200 1990

I am about to change the timing belt on my 245 1990 . The new belt made by Roulunds in Denmark has has some markings: one white line and also a two white lines marking. What is the purose of these lines and can I expect the Roulunds belt to last as long as the original one? There is 225 000 Km on the engine.

Also some mechanic have told me that if one changes the belt the tensioner should be changed also Is that true and why ?

Any tips or sugestions as to how to proceed this is my first time.
