Hi. Putting 195/65-15 tires* on a 240? Let's see how that goes.
You didn't say what year your 240 was, but let's say it had 185/70-14s as standard equipment. That tire is 614.6 mm tall**.
Now, your 195/65-15 tires are 634.5 mm tall. So your new tires are 20 mm taller, 3% off viz. your speedometer/odometer error, and are 10mm (half their diameter) or about 1/2" closer to the lower spring mount.
For 15" wheels, 195/60-15 tires, at 615.0 mm, would have been a better choice, being almost a perfect match, only 0.4 mm (about half of 1 mm) different from the originals!
And for 16" wheels, either 205/50-16 tires (611.4 mm) or 195/55-16 tires (620.9 mm) would be close (within about 4 mm or 1/6") to the original diameter and not nearly as tall (and close to the spring mount) as your taller 195/65-15 tires.
