Dirt and dropped hardware get into the drains and plug them. It is essential
to keep them open, and one way to help is to wash the inside of the door and
get all the dust and other dirt out of there so the drains don't get plugged
so easily. New seals against the glass will also help a lot at reducing the
amount of water that gets in there in the first place.
