Idle problems with '81 200 1981

My '81 has a throttle switch and and coolant temperature sensor, I'm pretty sure. I know it has a throttle switch. Air control valve it's got, not the other, more prevalent style AAV.

What I might not have made clear in the original post is that the engine has NEVER stalled, it just nearly does as it swings from low RPM to high. I live in northern California, and it's never really cold enough here to test the cold start crap. Besides, the car has idled erratically in all climates for the last six months (I've traveled around).

Haven't heard about the CPR part. I guess you learn something every day.. I'll look into that.
