John Parkerīs recomendation is a best approach. This way, you no need to adapt a new ignition key on your dash panel. Try first to make and test the coil change before put a MSD ignition box on board (one step at time help with debbuging).

Prevent the risk of fumes (from the engine compartment) into the passenger area, please, close the hole (open after remotion of the original coil) with some tin plate.
