The only reason I noticed this is on the dyno where you can run it and look at the pistons at the same time. The dropping of one piston coincides with a dip in power
and a lean spike in the air fuel ratio.

Switched carb pistons and dome from front to rear and no difference.
Put on an entirely different front carb and the same thing happened.

Did blocking the balance tube cure the problem with the front piston dropping?
Did the power increase or drop after that?
