Removal of Rear Seat Back Rest Release (960 wagon) 900 1992

Hello one and all,
I am having an issue with the rear seat back rest release in my 1992 960 wagon. The plastic handle that serves as the latch release has been broken, twice now. The first time I used epoxy to fasten the loose piece back to the piece still on the seat, now that too has broke and needs to be totally replaced. I can't figure out how to remove the cover of the back rest to access this plastic handle thus allowing me to replace it. This cover is essentially the surface that would be on top if the seat is laid down to open up the cargo area. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Peter
