142E Engine Swap 140-160

I have a 1970 144 with a clean body but needs a motor. I have a FORD 302 and T5 out of a 84 MUSTANG and have been trying to figure out if it would fit without alot of cutting up the car. Awhile back I read a post that someone did a engine swap using a FORD 289 with a C4 auto trans in a 145. If anyone has any information please let me know it would be very helpful.
