Strut problem 200

The rub is the top spring retaining plate hitting on the inside wheel well when you turn the wheel to certain positions. Im not sure if that is the cause of the loosening the gland nut- maybe just too much anti seize on the nut. Is there any way I can push in the wheel well to provide clearance for the strut? Any thoughts?
