Dynamat for proofing Amazons 120-130

Does anyone have any experience of using the soundproofing material Dynamat Xtreme? A friend has given me a bulk-pack and I am tempted to use it on the floor and doors of my Amazon, just to make motorway cruising less noisy, and hear the radio.

This stuff has a self adhesive side and then the proofing material plus an alu liner that is meant to help heat loss. I will be giving this to a firm to do, but I wondered whether you thought it was worth it, whether there are particular extra areas that you would cover, and what areas to avoid. Can I cover the entire inside of door? Should I do the hood and/or boot space?

And lastly, since this stuff forms a strong seal with the metal, would I have to worry about the occasional leak inside. I would not install felt for this reason, because it soaks up water and corrodes from inside.

Thanks guys.

Tom
