Engine misses, tachometer jumping 200 1982

Hi All,

Looks like I have the "classic" ignition, tach jumpiness problem on my 1982 B21F-MPG (Chrysler White Cap, K-jet). From reading other posts on the board, I went ahead and changed the hall effect sensor in the distributor, the cap, rotor and coil. Seems like things settled down for a bit, then today I barely made it to work as the engine stumbled along, tach twitching away.

So, what's next? Harness, connectors, and the ignition control unit over near the alterator? Any advice on a good source for the ICU?

I'd hate to break down and spend "real money" at a mechanic!!

Greg
