purchase an 86' 245 automatic?

philvo,
Asking $800, I offered $600. Of course $400 sounds better, though at least with motorcycles, people seem to ask for a lot more money in this state, than back east.

I agree, and plan to change fluids (hydrolic are brake and trans. right?) if I buy it. There is a smaller leak where the drive shaft comes out of the transmission, but also (I think) between the engine and the trans. I just read on this site about "Transmission Output Shaft Bushing", is this the bushing you are refering to?

What transmision type is in this car? From what I am reading the aw-71 or 70 is better? Is there a number on the tranny that I can look for?

Any responses to the other questions: any other issues with this year that I should be concerned about?

thanks all,
nathan
