Stalling while hot. 700 1986

Hello.
I have got a carburetted B230K and I used to have stalling while cold but I fixed that by sorting out vaccum leaks on the carb and have had no trouble since with stalling while cold.
I went out and drove 10 miles today and came back and parked my car and after about 10 minutes went back out to park outside the house and it fired up and instantly stalled, did it twice and on the third try fired up and idled correctly.
What can cause this? Power stage, it is a Lucas make and probably cheap and about 10 years old. Hall sensor? and finally the Hot start Valve on side of carb. It appears to work as I tested it by blowing through it and it was closed while the engine was on and was open when off. I also checked the hose from it to under the car and it was clear.
Thanks James.
