The difference in 80s and earlier... 200 1984

is that I am not certain and don't want to inadvertantly send anyone on a wild goose chase. You guys have fixed that problem. Thanks.

There are some differences regarding the interior of the lights. Somewhen back there they changed from metal reflectors to metal-coated reflectors integral with the housing. The ones I pulled from by now-gone 1979 245DL have the metal reflectors, all amber lenses, and three screws.
