I'm wondering what the standard side-view mirror placement was on my old '64 122.
I have two mounting holes on my door on the curved portion of the door. Many other V's that I've seen driving around however have their mirrors mounted on the flat portion of the door, just below the side-vent window. The way they are mounted also is kind of angled. So... were some mirrors mounted on the curve, and some on the flat portion? I don't see any holes on the flat portion of mine.
