Just found a great old ad 200 1979

Where I work we recycle paper. You people (yeah, you!) leave all kinds of things in your old recyclables- stuff it would take me weeks to describe. Someone turned up a real gem today: a January 1979 Playboy magazine. Thumbing through it, looking for good articles (of course!) there's a great 2-page Volvo ad. Even better than the centerfold.
It's one I've never seen before: it shows 9 cars, with the owners and their accumulated mileage. The high mileage champ in 1979? You might have guessed- Irv Gordon, with his 1800S, showing 537,177 miles.
You have to wonder if any of the others in the ad still survive- there's a 4-door 122 from Mississippi showing 405,000, and what looks to be a '76 245 that already had 140,452.
I'll be scanning and posting this ad when I get home to my Volvo site:

I think it's interesting that most of the cars in the ad seem to be everyday machines that were not cleaned up at all for the pictures- some have mismatched tires, and tweaked bumpers, and missing trim.
Well, gotta go see if there are any other important things I missed in these old magazines....
