240 seat swap?

ok, this might be ridiculous- but here goes.
My '87 240 DL driver side seat is disintegrating. I'm headed to a couple boneyards for some other bits and pieces (map pockets, arm rests).
I'd like to get my seat fixed without shelling out. Can I swap a passenger side seat in on the drivers side? This is strictly a hardware thing. I don't care if the lumbar adjust is on the wrong side (never used it). I've got the e-brake cover that has the safety belt buckles in it, if that makes a difference. I haven't been able to find my service manuals, so I can't check the book, but it LOOKS like it would work....
