97 960 Sunroof driving me nuts 900

I have this rattle in the inner cover for my sunroof when it's slid back and in that position. It's been going on for months and I thought it was all kinds of other problems till I realized that the noise only occurs when I push that cover back. Is there a fix for this without having to remove the entire lining?
