m47 drain & fill bolts..

I rounded the same bolt on my tranny. Took it to a mechanic and he said "What are you doing?? The trans doesn't need any service unless you notice a leak or other problem." Anyway, I didn't take heed and had him replace the fluid after he removed the plug with a 2 ft pair of channel locks.
I checked with Volvo, and sure enough, he was right, there is not any scheduled maintenance for the M47, and the plug is intended for a one-time use.
