Coil readings 700

I tested my coil that is original on my 88 740 wagon. On between terminals 1 and 15 I got readings all over ,a high of 43.7 then it setteled down to 0.9. I hit the coil with my hand and the readings begain to go all over the place again. This can't be normal. Do any of you know where I can buy a new coil at a good price even an aftermarket one that you have been using without any problems ? Thanks ,Dan from NJ.
