Those are HIF6's, not HS6's. They have a chunky area directly underneath the throttle valve area that contains the jet and float bowl. The HS6 has the float bowl separate, and a little thin tube leading from it to the jet mounted underneath the dome.

Note that HS6 and HIF6 carbs need different heat shields because the are needing shielding is different.
