What a difference.(960) 900

just replaced motor and transmission mounts and it seems to have taken care of other things i didn't expect.the shifter knob hardly moves between shifts and while braking,it has even less vibration at cruising speed(was blaming that on out of round tires),the best part of it is that my nivos may not be gone yet(the rear end is not bumping now)that was a bad trans mount causing it to hop on certain bumps sounding like it was from the back. it also allows me to happily accellerate quicker due to the improved smoothness and i bet the shimmy i had backing up-hill on my old driveway is gone now.those parts were $250 and very much worth it.the old 960 keeps getting better.i didn't know what i was missing, the 92 has always been smoother and better maintained than the dirty, neglected 94 i aquired a year ago.it looks and runs like a different car now.it goes to show that you can be rewarded for the extra expense of maintaining and dropping a few more gallons in the tank and be happy with the 960.it is becoming the most favorite car i've owned and i've always been happy with it.
