I found a post with a list of parts in the archives with part numbers for the rear exhaust to trans mount bracket "kit" as per Volvo tech bulletin #25709 for pre 92' 700 & 900's and bought all the parts. They arrived today via UPS. The list was as follows:
#3507501-9 - Tail support for transmission
#6842241-9 - Bracket (from trans. to exhaust)
#9135511-1 -Clamp for B230F OR
#1346590-1 -Clamp for B230FT
#946472-8 -4 screws for tail support (longer than what are now there)
#946173-2 -1 screw for exhaust clamp
After careful scrutinizing, the only parts I can actually use seem to #6842241-9 (the actual bracket) and #946173-2 (the bolt that would hold the the exhaust clamp to the bracket). #3507501-9 is the tail support that is identical to the one my car! #1346590-1 clamp for turbo downpipe is the one that goes to the bellhousing bolt and has an angled flange that doesn't match the angle of the exhaust bracket (horizontal) and therefore will not work unless I bend the bracket. And #946472-8, the longer bolts are not necessary since the bracket thickness is only .087 of an inch! The parts (2)I can use only cost $15.67. Add to this about $4.00 for the correct clamp, for a rough total of about $20. I have read in the archives that the "kit" is around $50.00. The rest the parts I may not be able to return since the were special order.
