engine swap

I checked the archives and got answers to some of these questions but others went unanswered.

I have a B23 that might replace a B230 in the future. If you do a complete swap do you have to replace the ecu also?

Can you do a block swap only and continue to use the B230 head and ecu? (I think from the archives the answer here is yes.)

The B23 is a manual trans while the B230 is a auto. Can the flex plate from the B230 be used on the B23 inorder to continue to use the auto or do I need a B23 specific flex plate?

And lastly, if you replace a B230FT with a B23 I am assuming that the ecu would have to be changed for the normally aspirated B23. Is that correct?

As usual thanks in advance for any help.
