BIG no start update/recap HELP ME AGAIN please!!! 700

Hello,

Sorry to hear about all the grief. When my '89 740T was having a jumping tach it turned out to be the ignition module/power stage. The part is that flatish silver and black thing above the battery on the driver's side. Two screws hold it on. I tried sanding the contact points and such on mine but had no success. It's a cheap part ~$45. I'd go ahead and get one. A failure of the ignition module will leave you stranded.
