changed the tranny now lights don't work 700

Today I changed the tranny in my '86 740Gl. When I got it It had an old 4 speed tranny (?M45?) for some reason... I put M47 in it just today and now I have a strange problem. First of all, the back-up lights don't work, they just flash for a moment when I shift in reverse and then don't work. When I returned from test drive (by the way the tranny shifts like new) I found out the low beam lights dont work. The parking lights do work and I can hear the relay click when I turn the light switch from parking lights to low beams, but no light (there's no light on the dashboard also, but it lights when I turn to parking lights)...
Checked the fuses...
I don't know if i connected the backup-light switch on the tranny correctly, I guess that could be reason for non-working backup lights...Could it be also for non working low beams?

Any ideas are wellcome!
