I hate the electronic OD 200

Troubles with the Laycock OD used with MANUAL transmissions listed in order of frequency. These are after the fuse and low/old fluid are taken care of.

Loose connections-or broken wires inside insulation- at solenoid connectors.
Bad 4th gear switch
Broken wires to shifter at base of shifter (all but one instance was with slide switch system).
Bad wiring to 4th gear switch. Usually blows the fuse.
Worn/brittle actuating piston seals. OD fine cold, no OD when warm is how these start to fail.
Solenoid with fluid inside. (OD stays on all the time.)
Broken control valve spring(s). More with early 700's than the 200's.
Bearing for cone clutch noisy. Hear bearing noise in first 4 then goes away in OD mode.
Cone clutch separated. (Usually after fluid inside solenoid not taken care of or bearing not changed when noisy.)
Three problems related directly to synthetic fluids NOT type F specific.
Output "bell" bearings noisy.
One faulty relay in over 800 instances.
