Idle/hesitation 200

Thanks cbremski;

Following your diagnosis, we gave the throttle body a careful inspection with a mirror. The Idle Adjustment Screw seems quite easy to move, either loosening or tightening. Perhaps there is just too much crud in that part of the throttle body and therefore any adjustment I make has no effect? ie. Any pertinent air passages are clogged at the setting that brings idle above 1500?

On a related note, we went for a quick boot and observed that the engine will idle between 1500-2000, and after we give a quick kick-down it stabilizes at 1100 for about 3-5 seconds, then back up to 1500! Crazy ghost car has a mind of its own! Any input would be greatly appreciated.
