oil pressure guage to replace idiot light 84 245dl 200

I want to replace the oil idiot light with a guage that I now have. Looks nice sitting in the dash. I know I need a different sending unit but my question is would I screw it into the same threded hold of where I'm pulling out the idiot sending unit? Also any ideas on how to run the new wires?

Same question as above but with a volt guage.
